Carburetor Restoration

The spark plugs are “read” to determine A-F mixture anomalies (rich, lean, oil-burning). Carburetor  specifications and adjustment procedures are obtained. Kits and parts are located and purchased.

The carburetor is disassembled, the float level is measured prior to removal. Main jets are measured and compared to specs. The carburetor is cleaned.

During carburetor reassembly, all adjustments are performed to specifications, The float is tested for leaks.

Upon carburetor installation, choke operation, idle main and jet mixture tests are performed and adjusted to specifications on the vehicle.
